Rejig ran a Morsbag sewing workshop at this year’s Community Get-Together in the South Park, as part of the Darlington annual celebration for the life of MP Jo Cox.
As well as hosting a free drop-in session with both the electric and the vintage hand sewing machines, Rejig stitchers were busy volunteering all of Sunday afternoon to help visitors to take a stylish, free shopping bag home with them.
There was also an opportunity to choose something interesting from the free book swop stall. It was a busy, fun day with plenty of live music in the bandstand, an outdoor printmaking workshop with local artist Carol Greenwood and lots of friendly games and picnics.
