Join us in the REJIG Sewing Workshop at The Festival of Thrift and help to make a quilt from recycled fabrics in a weekend.
Sewers of all ages and abilities wanted – come and sew together – lots of help and support and everyone is welcome.
Be part of something that grows out of our lovely buckets of recycled fabric scraps into a quilt of many colours – Rejig are inviting visitors to the Festival to join their improvised patchwork and quilting workshop.
Come and choose 3 pieces of recycled material to make a block for the Festival quilt and then make another to take home and start your own patchwork creation – who knows where it will lead?
We have lovely Singer hand sewing machines and easy to use electric sewing machines along with heaps of fabric, embroidery threads, buttons, beads, ribbons and lace, all recycled from unwanted clothes and furnishings.
Let’s make a beautiful quilt together.
